Jacob Moon performed in Stratford in March, along with local cellist Ben Bolt-Martin and singer Ali Matthews. Moon is a gifted singer and songwriter based in Hamilton with 7 CD’s to his name. He is also well-known for his skill as a “live looper”. His popular music videos on YouTube gained attention on a national level when rock legend group Rush asked Moon to perform his version of “Subdivisions” at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala in 2008. He is also a socially conscious artist with many of his concert proceeds going towards social justice charities. Elizabeth Cooper interviewed him before his Stratford concert.
